I've been slacking a bit on my blogging. Among other things, I'm working on a new website and it is looking good! Speaking of "looking good", here are some wedding images from Lee and Tina's wedding at the Abington Art Center in PA. Thanks to Lee and Tina for choosing me to record their special day, and thanks to Gretchen and Alex for telling them about me. :)
Here at last, some images of the new book I'm offering. I'm also adding this to the wedding albums that I offer. They call it a "Fine Art Book" and it definitely is that. You can see the spreads, and the photo-cover that wraps from front to back (very cool). Check out the closeup shot and note how the crease between left and right sides is barely visible.
This is just a short post on a recent session and future competition. This is Carrie and possibly the next Miss Delaware. Or, the next Miss Delaware USA. I didn't realize it, but there are two similar titles from two different organizations. I'm reasonably sure that she is competing for Miss Delaware USA. In any case - good luck Carrie! *same image, the black and white version will be in the program
If you've read previous posts, you may remember mention of a newer style of family portrait session. I spend several hours with a family while they do family things. The kids play by themselves, with each other, and with Mom and Dad. They do the everyday things that families do. The kind of things that we all did, reminisce about - and wish we'd taken more (or at least better) pictures of. I've just received my first book from a new company I've added to my offerings and it is BEAUTIFUL! The book is designed in "spreads", meaning I don't design a "left" and "right" page, I design both as one spread. They bind the book in a way where the center crease is barely perceptible. I'll post some images of the actual book shortly, but I wanted to try out posting a video. If it works, this is my second design... *if you can't view the video, click here: Family album
Anna's job with the D.O.T. led us to a new location for an engagement session. The location - Smith's bridge, in northern New Castle County, DE. Not the easiest location to find, but I think it was worth it! The bear in the first image was Tom's partner in the proposal.
