The Artist's Treatment

This is about as far from a traditional engagement session image as you can get! Sometimes I just start working with an image and end up with something very different than what I originally had in mind. Creative expression - it's a beautiful thing.
Sleep is also a beautiful thing that unfortunately seems to be in constant conflict with creative expression. :(

Future Miss Delaware

This is Sierra.
With respect to everyone's privacy, I make a point of not including anything too personal here. I'll just say that we've known Sierra and her family for a good number of years now. Even so, it's been a few years and it's always a little surprising when you see an adult that you last saw as a child.
Sierra, I know you are doing this more as a personal challenge, but I would be more surprised if you didn't win.
Good luck!

Sam's Senior Sessions

Sam is my latest senior spokesmodel - the last for this year...but not least. :)
I enjoy all of the photography that I do, but I think I like photographing seniors best. They aren't fussy, they are easy to work with, they are very willing participants (usually) and don't pee on me. That's a reference to the babies I photograph...I just want to be clear on that. :)
Did I share too much?

Mike and Amber's wedding at the Bellevue Mansion

I'd never photographed a wedding at the Bellevue Mansion
and I was really looking forward to it. Kent County is a little...limited, when it comes to scenic environments. The weather was perfect. Great couple, great families = great images.

Tanya's senior portraits

These are a few favorites from Tanya's senior session. She's a genuinely nice girl who was an absolute pleasure to photograph. Just another reason I love doing senior photography!
