Engagement session: Amy & Floyd at the beach (Delaware)

I will put up some individual images tomorrow, but for now, please just click in the middle of the screen and enjoy the show. I had a great time getting to know Amy and Floyd a little better. For the first image, I told them to go "badass". They laughed, but I think we pulled it off. :)

Edited "tomorrow"... here are the images, the show is now at the bottom.

Dave and Vanessa's wedding at The Farmhouse

This was my first time photographing at The Farmhouse in Wilmington, DE...loved it!
Thanks to Dave and Vanessa for bringing me along for the ride. Here are a few of my favorites, and if you click the title line of this post, it will take you to an awesome slideshow.
Enjoy!

DON'T FORGET TO WATCH THE SHOW!

Shannon's senior portraits, Delaware

I'm adding "Delaware" to all my post titles to help people find me when searching online.
Anyway, here we have Shannon and some of my favorite senior images yet. The first couple of images are actually photographed with a bedspread for a background. Ever since I found this one, I've been on the hunt for "fresh" linens. :)

Colleen and Brian's engagement session - Rehoboth Beach

These are just a few favorites from Colleen and Brian's e-session at Rehoboth Beach. Great couple - we had a lot of fun. That first images with the seagull flying into frame...you know you'll get good stuff when even the birds do what you want them too. :)

Nicolas' senior portraits...

and of course, a collage!
Nic isn't a big smiler, something I can relate to. The word "cheese" is strictly forbidden here at Lanagan Photography, because the goal is never to get a big, cheesey smile. For people like Nic and me...it's EXTRA forbidden, because it's just not us. To me, this is one of the biggest advantages of having your portraits done by a professional, versus someone with minimal training and the ability to push a button. Get to know people a little, then capture them as they are.

Back to the beach...portraits

I do love the beach, and so do many of my clients! These are some of the favorites, and a few collages I put together as well. Enough talk, here they are...
