Oreo for the holidays

Because of his unfriendly disposition, most visitors don't get to see our watchcat Oreo. This is his official holiday portrait, taken primarily so that I could use the image on a purse for my daughter's Christmas present. The second reason is that it amuses me. :)
Whenever he has something like this on (sweaters and such), it totally sedates him.

Portraits of Abbey

I just can't take a bad shot of Abbey (and Mom, Tina). These are my four favorites from the session. She's always happy, and it all radiates out of those big baby blues!

More Fall Family Portraits

Also at Silver Lake, and also a member of the Jungle Gym Rehab office, Katrina is the first smiling face you'll probably see when you visit. We got great, natural looking images...even the dogs had fun!

Fall Family Portraits

Time to play catch-up on the blog again. This is never more obvious then posting images from the previous season, but I'm making up for it by multiple posts today.
You may remember the family portraits at the beach post from November. This is Tracey's partner at The Jungle Gym, Deb and her family. I photographed them locally at Silver Lake Park. Great colors, great expressions - fun stuff!

A Christmas card to remember

I photographed Jim, Shirley and the girls specifically for their annual Christmas cards. They come up with the most unique ideas for these cards, and this year was no different. This one didn't take too long to shoot, but let's just say it was more than a few minutes pulling everything together in Photoshop. This will be a tough one to top!

Patrick was on the move!

Patrick is almost two, and he wasn't terrible (as in the "terrible twos"), but he was very active. Sometimes you just have to let the little ones explore. That's what we did after he got out of the restraints (kidding) and eventually it paid off big! I love it when we capture this much personality and joy.

Lisa and Conrad's wedding

It looks like this is my last wedding for 2007, and it was a good one! Lisa and Conrad are a very laid-back couple which is always nice. Most of my wedding clients seem to be this way, and for that I'm very appreciative! The weather was a BIG concern, but just like the previous wedding, everything cleared up just when we needed it to. The reception was at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club which is always a good thing.

See these images and many more nice ones in there online show, by clicking their names above.

These are some of my favorite images of baby Cayden. I photographed Cayden at home with mom, dad, and a very loving puppy. :)

Family Beach Portraits

These are some of my favorite images from a recent session with Brian, Tracey, and their kids. We arrived at Cape Henlopen just in time for the perfect sunset lighting. It's a beautiful quality of light, but it only lasts for about 20 minutes...at the most.I've photographed their family before, and designed an awesome family heirloom album (if I do say so myself). See it here: Family album

I've also photographed the other staff members at the The Jungle Gym
which I will post shortly.

Thomas's first birthday

I've photographed plenty of babies at their first birthday, and I always enjoy the sessions where they eat cake. Still, I can't recall any baby enoying a cake quite this much. This is cake bliss!

Dillon's portraits

Well, I'm behind as usual, but I'm about to get my blog on!
Get ready for some good stuff.
These are some images of Dave and Melissa's baby boy. I photographed Dave and Melissa's wedding in 2006 and I've posted previously on the new edition to their family. These our a few images from our most recent session. Check out those baby blues...

Jennifer and Buck's wedding

Okay fans (both of you), my blog has been the victim of neglect for the last month or so - but I'm committed to giving it the attention it deserves. I have another wedding tomorrow but starting next week I'll start posting more portrait session images and anything else of interest.

For now, here's a link to Jennifer and Buck's online show (CLICK THE TITLE ABOVE) and a few of them for instant viewing. The wedding was at the historic Barratt's Chapel in Frederica, Delaware. I love this church! Being able to walk around the upper level really gives you some cool perspectives during the ceremony. It rained all day Friday and Saturday morning, but wedding day prayers were answered with clear blue skies when it counted.
