Matt's awesome senior portraits

This is Matt. When his Mom told him about the senior portrait session she was scheduling, he didn't put up a fight. I don't think he was thrilled about it...initially.
But, when he realized it wasn't going to be the same old photo session - he came around. :)

Little Kaiden's first session

Well, this is the first session that I've photographed him. As it happens so often, our subject was not "feeling it". But, we hung in there and got some great images, and ended up with an awesome collage...if I do say so myself.

1st Annual Children's Calendar Pageant!

No pretty pictures (yet) for this post. I'm just trying to get the word out on an upcoming charity fundraiser. On December 2, 2006 - "gem I am" is holding their first Annual Children's Calendar Pageant at the Polytech Adult Education Conference Center. Located in Dover's Rt. 10 Plaza, Gem I am is a locally owned and operated store that specializes in fancy dresses (my words) for children and young adults. They sell clothing for First Holy Communions, Weddings, Christenings, Quinceaneras and pageants. The pageant is for children up to 15 years old, and each contestant gets a vote on which of three organizations will receive a donation of the funds raised. It will be one of these: "Stand Up for Kids", "Love Our Children USA", or The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Besides the fact that all profits go to a good cause, each contestant will also be getting, among other things...an 8x10" portrait taken by me, of course!

If you are interested, or know someone who might be - please have them call Crystal or Mildred at gem I am for more info.
They can be reached at 302.698.4145

Sports Collage

While on the subject of family (see previous post about my beautiful daughters), this is a collage of my nephew Jimmy. He's a good kid, and he's having a great year with the Polytech Panthers. He was even featured in the Delaware State News last week.
Here it is - feel free to comment!

Patricia and Tom's Wedding

View their Slideshow

Tricia and Tom were married this past Saturday. Beautiful ceremony, not so beautiful weather! Thankfully, no rain! The reception was at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington. I hadn't photographed there in the past, but I hope to again in the future - very nice.

Cathy and Dustin's engagement session

Continuing with the beach theme, this is Dustin and Cathy. Another great couple that I'm looking forward to photographing on their wedding day. Until then (later this year), let's all enjoy some of their engagement photographs!

Krisi - the next Miss Delaware U.S.A?

Several months ago, I posted a few images of Carrie, my first session of a Miss Delaware U.S.A. contestant. Well, it looks like Carrie has some competition. Introducing Krisi, a veteran of the pageant world. I must remain neutral of course, so- good luck to both of you. I hope one of you wins...so I can add that to my resume. :)

Jolene and Derrick's engagement session

Presenting Derrick and Jolene. This was a fun, but very windy engagement session. Jolene will be my third bride (photographically speaking) from the family. I take that as a huge compliment!

Like I said...it was very windy!

Shae and Pete's Wedding

This is a selection of images that are some early favorites from Shae and Pete's wedding yesterday. Their ceremony was held on the beach in Lewes and the sky was looking a little threatening until about one half-hour before the ceremony. At that point, prayers were answered and the sky turned blue. They left the ceremony on a Harley, but not before we got some awesome images. Those will appear in the slideshow that I should have ready in a day or two (link will be added to this post).
Until then, please enjoy these and be sure to check back for the slideshow.

Reception held at the beautiful Inn at Canal Square in Lewes, DE
