It started off easy enough. Tom arrived in a pleasant sleep, and I proceeded to photograph him.
Not long after, Tom awoke to see my camera lens REALLY close...
and he didn't care for that.
As a matter of fact, I'm not entirely sure that his hand gesture was unintentional.
But we all worked through it together and got great images. Dawn, James, and Tom - thanks for hanging in there!

You saw their engagement session, and now...the wedding.

Engagement Session: Shae and Pete
As promised, these are some of my favorites from Shae and Pete's engagement session. I've said it before, but I really love engagement sessions. This one was no exception. We had fun, got great images, and broke State and Federal laws (just kidding...sort of). :)
This was a great warm up for their future wedding...at the beach.

It's all about the birds
I vacationed with the family at the beach recently and I've been so busy since returning, that I haven't had much time for the blog. Ironically, this first post-vacation post takes me right back to the beach. I was photographing Shae and Pete's engagement session (that will be the next post) and they asked me to take some photographs of these little birds running back and forth with the rhythm of the waves. Wildlife photography was what first got me interested in photography - it was nice to revisit it.
