That awesome LifeStyle family album I mentioned...

Here is the link to one of my favorite LifeStyle albums ever!
These sessions are some of my favorites to do. Not a bunch of over-posed and static images. This is a natural and fun approach to capturing the real family. I always appreciate being welcomed into a family's life like this, and it is truly rewarding to be able to hand over albums they can, and do absolutely treasure. Did I mention I love doing LifeStyle sessions?

Eli's birthday portraits

This is Eli.
We tried a studio session for Eli's first birthday, but Eli got the better of us. :)
So, we let a little time pass and tried again - on his turf. His comfort level was right where it needed to be and we got some great images. This first image was the perfect choice for a watercolor treatment, printed on a gallery wrap. It is gorgeous!
Eli's mom, Laura, truly "gets" how important it is to document family history. We did a family "lifestyle" session last year and I just realized I never posted any of the images.
I'll add them shortly, or even better, I'll put their family album up!

Restoration: 1950 Washington Redskins

This was my biggest restoration job yet!
This client's (John) father was a member of the 1950 Redskins. This is their official team portrait shot at the nation's capitol, and this print was in bad shape.
It is four feet wide, so I had to photograph it in three sections and then stitch it together to get one complete image to work on.
Turned out pretty nice, I think...

This is Josh & Lauri's third (and final?) babyparts session. If you view some less-recent posts, you will see their boys. They are also well represented on my website...and my studio. It never seems to be enough for Lauri though. :)

I'm glad you got your girl, and I'm glad we got such great images. Now, enjoy!

Kelsey's senior portraits

Seniors...it's that time of year.
Graduating High School is a major milestone.
You have a choice when the time comes to have your senior portraits. Settle for the "one size fits all" school photography assembly line, or...
come to me!
This is Kelsey...she made the right decision. :)

Another "senior" citizen session

Not what you were expecting?
Well, Christian is a senior, and he is of course a citizen. :)

I've been photographing Christian for years now, they grow up so fast...sniff.
Anyway, great stuff - take a look.

Senior Spokesmodel 2009 - Montana

This is Montana, a senior "rep" and guinea pig for my new patio lights experiment. She was a great model, and we got some killer shots. I'm just sorry she had to see what a baby I am when the bee chased me at the outdoor session. We all have our issues. :)
